Technical Assistance for improving The Gambia’s Trade Data Collection, Analysis and Management – PE/SIC/2016-2019 NAOSU

The National Authorizing Officer Support Unit (NAOSU), Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs, is seeking proposals for a Technical Assistance for the improvement of the trade data collection, analysis and management in The Gambia. The purpose of this Technical Assistance is to develop a viable framework or system for collecting trade data that holistically captures all the major imports and exports in and from the Gambia, and roll out the framework to all relevant stakeholders for accurate data collection, analysis and reporting. It will involve assessing the existing capacities and systems of stakeholders in trade data collection, analysis and management, including capacity assessment and carrying out training activities to address relevant skill gaps.

The aim is to improve the quality of trade data collection, analysis and management for decision making and policy formulation.
