The European Union has approved the allocation of 150Million Euros, approximately 7.8Billion Dalasis for The Gambia for the 11th EDF National Indicative Programme (2014-2020). However, 33Millon Euros has been committed for the first phase of the 11th EDF on two sectors such as Agriculture for Economic Growth and Food Security/Nutrition (21million euros), Feeder Roads (7million Euros), Exit Strategy to Transport Sector (3million euro) and 2million euros for the Technical Cooperation Facility.
The remaining balance of funds will be committed after the finalisation of next country’s National Development Plan, Programme for Accelerated Growth & Employment.
